Best Safaris Near Victoria Falls

Not every safari near Victoria Falls means the same thing. The Chobe Day Trip is the shortest — a single day across the border into Botswana for a river cruise and game drive, back by dinner. The Hwange Big Five, at four days, is the opposite end: a proper safari with a private vehicle and six guests maximum.

The two river routes — Upper Zambezi Canoe (two days) and Mana Pools Canoe Safari (five days) — are a different kind of trip entirely, paddling rather than driving, with Mana Pools adding walking safaris and fly camping on a genuine UNESCO floodplain. The Falls Rainforest Walk is the shortest of all — a single morning at sunrise, before the crowds.
